The Steel Modular Trailer Wheel part # AM20365 has a white powder coated finish. It can still be used on a boat trailer but it will not hold up well in due time. Boat trailer wheels are frequently submerged in both fresh and saltwater applications which makes them much more prone to rust and corrosion. For most boat trailers, it's okay to use powder coated steel wheels but this is mostly for freshwater. I am not saying you can't use powder coated steel wheels on a boat trailer in saltwater but it's really not the best option for longevity. It will help to rinse them down after but the issue is with water corroding the beat seats, creating leaks and it's hard to get all the water out of the cracks between the tire and wheel.
